The devil can only defeat you when you believe his lie's and neglect God almighty's powerful word. If we remain "stead fast and unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord". What is that work? Reading, praying, confessing, and studying God's word. Only then will you be able to "Submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you".
